Classes resume in September for members of AWS
I have begun teaching weekly classes at my home for members of the American Women of Surrey. There are two different classes available: Scrap, Craft & Chat and Rubber Stamping Classes.
Scrap, Craft & Chat -- This is an informal gathering for rubber stampers and scrapbookers. The participants bring their own ongoing projects and supplies, or they can begin a new project during the get-togethers. In addition, they have access to cutting systems, punches, tools, rubber stamps, ink pads, and other tools. The atmosphere is wonderful for chatting, crafting and making lasting friendships. The gathering is free, but participants are asked either to bring a food item to share or to make a small contribution to help cover refreshments. You must book ahead to attend these events, as seating is limited.
Rubber Stamping Class -- During these classes, we will use rubber stamps to create cards and other projects. In addition, we will explore techniques and try out different coloring methods and some of the latest products and ideas. The £10 contribution covers your project supplies, refreshments and a light lunch. It is imperative that you book ahead for these classes, as seating is limited.
A schedule of upcoming classes will be announced later in the summer. Classes will resume in September, and they are usually held on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
